We highly recomend using a MOVING CHECKLIST. This will keep you orginized and ensure things are not forgotten. Your list should outline everything that needs to be done before, and after, your move. Don't forget the transfer of utilities, Phone and even something as small as informing the paper to start delivering to your new address.
LEAVE IT IF YOU DON'T NEED IT
Avoid moving anything you don't really need, sort out the things you don't use, It's expensive, time-consuming, and physically unnecessary to move things you havent or won't be using. If you don't use it now, you most likely won't use it later.
GET RID OF THE CLUTTER.
Dispose of broken tools, old toys, old clothing and other items that you no longer need, before you move. Give usable items to charity or hold a garage sale.
CHOOSE QUALITY OVER PRICE IT'S WORTH IT!
Choose an experienced moving firm with an established reputation for good service and reliability, check with your local Better Business Bureau to find out the companies rating (http://calgary.bbb.org/find-business-reviews/name/kings+transfer/calgary-AB/). Choosing someone that is unreliable or inexperienced will waste more time and money than you can imagine.
PACKING.
